About Bodega Noble San Javier

At the foot of Cerro Champaquí in San Javier, Bodega Noble San Javier is one of the projects that helped drive the revival of winemaking in the Traslasierra Valley. The Jascalevich family arrived in the area in 2001 and discovered a high-altitude environment of native woodland and largely untouched soils, where they developed a small-scale wine project with a distinctive Córdoba identity.

Winery & Vineyards

The estate is located at approximately 900 meters above sea level and has around three hectares of vineyards, cultivated using organic and biodynamic practices.

The varieties grown include Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Merlot, all adapted to the particular conditions of the Córdoba hills.

Noble San Javier’s philosophy focuses on preserving the area’s biodiversity and integrating the vineyards with the native woodland and the rest of the estate.

Wines

Production is small-scale and seeks to express the distinctive characteristics of the Traslasierra terroir.

Merlot Noble de San Javier is one of the winery’s most representative labels, alongside Malbec and various blends. Some of its wines have received medals in national and international competitions.

Wine Tourism

The winery welcomes visitors to explore its vineyards and discover a lesser-known side of Argentine wine: winemaking in the hills of Córdoba.

Experiences include tours of the vineyards and winery, wine tastings, and traditional picadas in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature.

Las Jarillas Hostería & Bodega

The Noble San Javier experience is directly connected with Las Jarillas Hostería & Bodega, located on the same property.

The guesthouse, vineyards, and winery share the same mountain landscape, allowing guests to explore the wine project and taste its wines without leaving the estate.

Las Jarillas also features gardens, an outdoor swimming pool, and several spaces overlooking the valley and the Sierras Grandes, creating a stay that combines relaxation, nature, and wine.
