About Atamisque Lodges
In San José, Tupungato, Lodges Atamisque offers an intimate stay among vineyards, orchards, and mature trees, with the Andes Mountains providing a spectacular backdrop. The lodges are part of Finca Atamisque, a 700-hectare estate located at 1,300 meters above sea level.
The experience combines wine, gastronomy, and country living within one of the Uco Valley’s most comprehensive wine tourism destinations.
Rooms
Lodges Atamisque features six rooms, each with its own distinctive atmosphere and style.
The spacious interiors combine a bedroom, living area, and fireplace, extending outdoors to a private pergola overlooking the Andes.
The bathrooms are bright and spacious, with vintage-style bathtubs and small interior patios. Outside, each lodge also features a private heated Jacuzzi, designed for enjoying the landscape and peaceful surroundings of the estate.
Gastronomy
The estate is home to Rincón Atamisque, a small country restaurant set among old stone walls and surrounded by mature trees.
Its cuisine combines a gourmet approach with local flavors, using many ingredients grown or produced on the estate, including cherries, chestnuts, hazelnuts, peaches, apples, pears, quinces, vegetables, and aromatic herbs.
Trout remains one of the highlights of the menu. The fish come from the estate’s own trout farm and are caught daily for the restaurant.
The gastronomic experience is naturally complemented by wines from Bodega Atamisque.
Services
The lodges include breakfast served either in the room or in the lobby, Wi-Fi, housekeeping, a safe, and private parking close to each accommodation.
The hospitality team can also assist with arranging excursions, transfers, and car rentals.
The estate offers numerous spaces and activities that allow guests to combine relaxation with outdoor experiences.
Wine & Experiences
Bodega Atamisque is located on the same estate and is one of the main highlights of the stay.
The winery was created by John Du Monceau and his wife Chantal and produced its first vintage in 2007. Its building, designed by Bórmida & Yanzón, is recognized for its distinctive stone roof and architecture that blends naturally into the surrounding landscape.
Today, the winery has a production capacity of approximately one million liters and uses a gravity-flow system that reduces the need for pumping during the different stages of winemaking.
Visitors can take guided winery tours and enjoy different tastings, discovering wines from the Atamisque, Catalpa, and Serbal ranges, as well as sparkling wines.
Experiences extend throughout the estate with horseback riding, trekking, mountain biking, and routes through vineyards, orchards, and vegetable gardens.
Golf & Nature
Finca Atamisque also features a distinctive 9-hole, Par 3 golf course set within a century-old grove originally selected by French landscape architect Carlos Thays.
The holes extend up to 190 yards, with fairways and greens designed according to USGA standards.
The estate’s landscape combines vineyards and orchards with ponds, vegetable gardens, mature trees, and natural areas where guests can observe different species of local wildlife.
