About Antucura Wine Hotel
Set on an expansive wine estate in Vista Flores, Uco Valley, Antucura Wine Home offers an intimate experience centered around vineyards, art, literature, and wine. The elegant residence is surrounded by approximately 130 hectares of vineyards and gardens, with sweeping views of the Andes Mountains.
Originally created by French entrepreneur Anne-Caroline Biancheri, the property combines the atmosphere of a private residence with the services of a small wine hotel. One of its most distinctive features is its remarkable library, home to around 8,500 books in different languages, along with a collection of Mendoza art displayed throughout the property.
Rooms
The residence features eight rooms, each individually decorated and offering views of the vineyards, gardens, or Andes Mountains.
The interiors preserve Antucura’s residential character, with furniture, artwork, and spacious common areas that reinforce the feeling of staying in a large private home surrounded by vineyards.
The property also currently offers the option of renting the entire house, an alternative particularly suited to families or groups of friends seeking greater privacy without giving up hotel services.
Gastronomy
The cuisine reflects the intimate character of the property, with a concept based on Argentine flavors and regional ingredients.
Breakfast includes artisan breads, homemade preserves, and fresh fruit, while dinner features a variety of dishes such as empanadas, humitas, salads, and grilled meats.
The dishes are naturally paired with Antucura wines, connecting the gastronomic experience with the wine identity of the estate.
Services
The gardens surrounding the residence feature a large semi-Olympic swimming pool, relaxation areas, and several spaces from which to enjoy views of the vineyards and Andes.
Inside, the centerpiece is the library, with approximately 8,500 volumes and considered one of the most significant book collections found in a hotel in the region. Works by Mendoza artists, sculptures, and other pieces of art further enhance the cultural character of the property.
The house also offers Wi-Fi, a wine cellar, and several common areas for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.
Wine & Experiences
Antucura Wine Home shares the estate with Bodega Antucura, making wine a central part of the experience.
Guests can visit the winery and participate in tastings of Antucura wines, including some of its most representative labels. The estate’s vineyards include red grape varieties such as Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, among others.
The experience is complemented by outdoor activities such as horseback riding, trekking, and cycling, as well as visits to other wineries throughout the Uco Valley.
Its location provides convenient access to the wine regions of Vista Flores, Los Chacayes, and other areas of Tunuyán.
Setting
Antucura stands apart from other wine hotels in the Uco Valley through its distinctive combination of three elements: wine, art, and literature.
The extensive library occupies the heart of the residence, while gardens, sculptures, vineyards, and reading areas create a peaceful, residential atmosphere. The landscape of Vista Flores and views of the Andes complete an experience particularly suited to relaxation.
