Altalaluna Boutique Hotel & Spa

Located along Salta’s Wine Route, Altalaluna Hotel Boutique & Spa occupies a historic 1892 estate in Tolombón, just a few kilometers from Cafayate. Its Spanish colonial architecture, surrounding vineyards, and views of the Calchaquí Valley mountains create a peaceful setting where accommodation, gastronomy, spa, and wine experiences come together.

The hotel features 20 rooms and suites, all overlooking the vineyards, gardens, or surrounding mountains.

Accommodation categories include spacious and comfortable Standard Double Rooms; Master Suites, located on the sides of the historic main house and featuring balconies overlooking the landscape; and Grand Suites, larger accommodations with capacity for up to four guests.

Gastronomy

Altalaluna Restaurant offers high-altitude regional cuisine that reinterprets the traditional flavors of the Calchaquí Valleys with a contemporary approach.

Artisan breads, seasonal preserves, cheeses from local producers, vegetables from the garden, spices, walnuts, and clay-oven empanadas are all part of a culinary experience closely connected to the region and its ingredients.

The restaurant offers both an à la carte menu and multi-course tasting menus paired with selected wines from Bodega Tukma. It is open to both hotel guests and outside visitors.

Spa & Services

The spa invites guests to relax and enjoy the landscape of Tolombón through a variety of wellness experiences. Facilities include a dry sauna, Scottish shower, relaxation room, massages, and body treatments.

Wine & Experiences

Wine is an essential part of the Altalaluna experience. The hotel is surrounded by vineyards and has a close connection with Bodega Tukma, a producer of high-altitude wines in the Calchaquí Valleys.

Tours and tastings are available, along with guided vineyard trekking and special experiences during harvest season. Depending on the time of year, visitors can take part in harvest-related activities and learn more about the production of Tukma wines.
