A curated experience
About Tukma Winery
In Tolombón, just a few kilometers from Cafayate, Bodega Tukma produces high-altitude wines that reflect the distinctive character of the Calchaquí Valleys. Vineyards, mountains, and an extreme climate shape a wine experience closely connected to Altalaluna Hotel Boutique & Spa, where wine remains at the heart of tastings, gastronomy, and vineyard activities.
Winery & Vineyards
Bodega Tukma is located along Route 40 in Tolombón, one of the wine-growing areas south of Cafayate.
Its wines are born in the unique environment of the Calchaquí Valleys, characterized by high altitude, a dry climate, intense sunlight, and significant temperature variations between day and night.
The landscape of vineyards and mountains is more than just a backdrop: it is an essential part of the identity Tukma seeks to express through its wines and wine tourism experiences.
Wines
Tukma produces several ranges of high-altitude wines, including red, white, and rosé labels.
The wines can be explored through a variety of tasting experiences, from the Reserva range to premium selections, accompanied by cheeses and regional products.
Wine Tourism
The Tukma experience includes vineyard walks, private and group tastings, personalized blending experiences, and opportunities to meet the winemakers.
Tastings introduce visitors to the life cycle of the vine while offering the opportunity to sample different wines accompanied by regional cheeses. During harvest season, the winery also organizes grape harvesting and selection experiences, tours, and traditional activities connected with the winemaking process.
Altalaluna Hotel Boutique & Spa
The Bodega Tukma experience is directly integrated with Altalaluna Hotel Boutique & Spa, a historic 1892 estate surrounded by vineyards in Tolombón.
The hotel operates as Casa Tukma, offering wine tastings, vineyard activities, and gastronomic experiences connected to the winery’s wines.
Its restaurant serves high-altitude regional cuisine featuring ingredients such as local cheeses, vegetables from its own garden, artisan breads, and clay-oven empanadas. Both the à la carte and tasting menus can be paired with a selection of Tukma wines.
In this way, accommodation, gastronomy, and wine come together as part of a single experience in the Calchaquí Valleys.
