About Restaurante Rosell Boher Lodge

Among the vineyards of Alto Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo, the restaurant at Rosell Boher Lodge offers modern, locally inspired cuisine that brings together Mendoza ingredients, seasonality, and landscape. Its setting at the foot of the Andes Mountains makes the surroundings an essential part of the experience.

The gastronomic concept is closely connected to the wines and sparkling wines of Cavas Rosell Boher, bringing cuisine, wine, and terroir together as part of a single experience.

Gastronomy

The cuisine is based on natural ingredients and seasonal produce, combining regional influences with both traditional and contemporary techniques.

The restaurant works with local producers and places particular emphasis on understanding the origin of its ingredients, prioritizing locally sourced products and reducing the distance between producer and kitchen.

Artisanal preparation also plays an important role, from breads and pastries to a variety of dishes prepared entirely in-house.

The current offering includes a signature à la carte menu, tasting experiences, a Wine Bar, and options for different times of the day, as well as specific offerings for Lodge guests.

Wines & Pairings

Wine is one of the main highlights of the experience. The gastronomic offerings are designed to complement the wines and sparkling wines of Rosell Boher, a winery particularly renowned for its premium sparkling wines.

The experience is enhanced by the Lodge’s Wine Bar & Cellar, where guests can enjoy guided tastings and discover both Rosell Boher labels and wines from different terroirs across Argentina and around the world.

The underground cellar has capacity for approximately 25,000 bottles and also houses special vintages and labels selected by the sommelier.

Organic Garden & Local Produce

The restaurant’s culinary philosophy is based on sustainability and local sourcing. Some of the ingredients come from its own organic garden, complemented by produce sourced from growers and suppliers throughout Mendoza and other regions of Argentina.

Seasonality plays an important role in shaping the menu, allowing dishes and ingredients to evolve throughout the year.

This approach seeks to bring the identity of the surrounding landscape and the vineyards where the estate’s wines originate directly to the table.

Internationally Recognized Cuisine

In 2020, Rosell Boher Lodge received the Great Wine Capitals Global Gold Award in the Wine Tourism Restaurant category, becoming the international winner of its category at the Best Of Wine Tourism awards.

The award recognized a concept that brought together local ingredients, artisanal preparation, fire-based cooking techniques, grilling and clay-oven cooking, an organic garden, and pairings with the winery’s wines and sparkling wines.

The recognition established the restaurant as one of the leading gastronomic destinations within Mendoza’s wine tourism scene.

Setting

The restaurant is part of Rosell Boher Lodge, a wine hotel surrounded by vineyards in Alto Agrelo.

Expansive views of the vineyards and Andes accompany the dining experience, while the Lodge offers the opportunity to complement a meal with accommodation, wine tastings, the Wine Bar & Cellar, and wellness and nature experiences.
