Posada Chañarmuyo Estate is a different, magical, warm place, the ideal place to grasp the particular spirit of La Rioja, eat its savory regional food, and wander around its magnificent hills, a place to recover after unforgettable walks to Famatina, Cuesta de Miranda, Talampaya National Park and the traditions of the North of Argentina. Located 1720 meters above sea level, the valley of Chañarmuyo is visited all the year round. Breezes through the mountain range smooth out the climate, and days are warm while nights are fresh. A unique place with an unmistakable flavor, the Posada is located in the midst of this sublime, unexpected, and dry landscape.

All the spaces of the Inn were designed for the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. Even if you stay indoors, you can enjoy the landscape through an endless number of windows. The spacious living-room with its very big chimney and the play-room with its TV set are some of the options you can enjoy at nights.

Surrounded by galleries, the Posada is an invitation to enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings with a view to the vineyards.

The Inn has 6 rooms in suite (2 double, 2 marital and 2 triples) with decentralized heating and completely equipped.

The rooms have been thought so that all the guests can enjoy the best rest and disconnection of every reality.

All of them maintain a warm and uniform style. Delicated and cream-colored walls and blankets in the beds with sommiercreate an unique space to enjoy after a full day of adventures.

Enoturismo

Chañarmuyo Estate is a winery that integrates the original resources of a unique terroir with high technology in its processes of elaboration.

Vineyards: at 1720 meters above sea level, Chañarmuyo Estate vineyards are located at the perfect place, a combination of height, climate (semiarid and dry) and soil (rock, sand and slime). The vines are irrigated artificially i by leak and are protected with nettings against hail. The property is 800 hectares wide, and the white and red grapes plantations are the product of clones of the best origin.

Wine cellar: It is located among the vineyards. It is equipped with French cutting-edge machinery which, due to the proximity to the vineyards, instantly processes the harvested grapes. The selection is done manually. Once crushed, the must arrives to the tanks simply by the effect of gravity. No bombs are employed in this process. The wine cellar has its own bottling line, with a final capacity of 1.500.000 liters. Chañarmuyo Estate is a company model in La Rioja, promoting growth and authentic work for the local communities.

How to arrive:
By plane: From Buenos Aires to La Rioja, every day.
By bus: From Buenos Aires to Chilecito, every day.

From Chilecito:
Through the 40 National Route towards Pituil (70 Km.). Crossby Pituil and take the 39 Provincial Route, west direction (14 Km.). Once you arrive to Chañarmuyo, continue the road that takes to the Dam (Dique), southwest direction until the Lodge (1km).

From La Rioja:
Take the 75 National Route which skirts the Velazco Mountain Range, giving the route its name of “Velazco Coast”. At Aimogasta the route changes to the 60 NR until the village of Alpasinche. Here you will take the 40NR, south direction to the locality of Pituil. Crosby Pituil and take the 39 Provincial Route, west direction (14 Km.). Once you arrive to Chañarmuyo, continue the road that takes to the Dam (Dique), southwest direction until the Lodge (1km).
